Bio: Professor Siau is the Lee Kong Chian Professor of Information Systems at the School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University. From June 2021 to June 2024, he was the Head of the Department of Information Systems and Chair Professor of Information Systems at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). He was also an Affiliated Chair Professor of the School of Data Science and an Affiliated Professor of the CityU Academy of Innovation. Prior to joining CityU, he was Head (“Business Dean” equivalent) of the AACSB accredited Business Program at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2012 to 2021. Professor Siau received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia. Professor Siau has more than 350 academic publications. According to Google Scholar, he has a citation count of more than 24,000. His h-index and i10-index, according to Google Scholar, are 77 and 205 respectively. He is also on the Stanford University list of the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists. Professor Siau is an AIS Distinguished Member–Cum Laude. He is a recipient of the prestigious International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Outstanding Service Award in 2006, IBM Faculty Awards in 2006 and 2008, IBM Faculty Innovation Award in 2010, AIS Sandra Slaughter Service Award in 2019, AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education in 2019, AIS Fellow Award in 2022, and AMCIS Outstanding Leader Award in 2023.

Prof. Ying Tan

Bio: Ying Tan is a full professor of Peking University, director of Computational Intelligence Laboratory at Peking University, and the inventor of Fireworks Algorithm (FWA). He worked as a professor of Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, Japan, in 2018, at Columbia University as senior research fellow in 2017, and at Chinese University of Hong Kong as research fellow, and at University of Science and Technology of China in 2005-2006 as a professor under the 100-talent program of CAS. He is the president of the IASEI, and also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IASEI Transactions on Swarm Intelligence, and International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Pattern Recognition (IJCIPR), the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics (CYB), IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning System (NNLS), Neural Networks, International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research (IJSIR), etc. He also served as an Editor of Springer’s Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS) for 60+ volumes, and Guest Editors of several referred Journals, including IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Information Science, Neurocomputing, Natural Computing, Swarm and Evolutionary Optimization, etc. He is the founder general chair of the ICSI International Conference series since 2010 and the DMBD conference series since 2016. He won the 2nd-Class Natural Science Award of China in 2009 and 2nd-Class Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education of China in 2019 and many best paper awards. His research interests include computational intelligence, swarm intelligence, deep neural networks, machine learning, data mining, intelligent information processing for information security and financial prediction, etc. He has published 400+ papers in refereed journals and conferences in these areas, and authored/co-authored 15 books, including “Fireworks Algorithm” by Springer in 2015, and “GPU-based Parallel Implementation of Swarm Intelligence Algorithms” by Morgan Kaufmann (Elsevier) in 2016, and received 5 invention patents.

Bio: Prof. Chong-Yung Chi received a B.S. degree from Tatung Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan in 1975, a M.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan in 1977, a Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1983, all in electrical engineering. He is currently a Professor at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. His current research interests include signal processing for wireless communications, convex analysis and optimization for blind source separation, biomedical and hyperspectral image analysis, graph-based learning and signal processing, and data security and privacy protection in machine learning. Dr. Chi received the 2018 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award, entitled “Outage Constrained Robust Transmit Optimization for Multiuser MISO Downlinks: Tractable Approximations by Conic Optimization,” IEEE Transactionson on Signal Processing, vol. 62, no. 21, Nov. 2014. He has been a Technical Program Committee member for many IEEE-sponsored and cosponsored workshops, symposiums, and conferences on signal processing and wireless communications, including Co-Organizer and General Co-Chairman of the 2001 IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC). He was an Associate Editor (AE) for four IEEE Journals, including IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON SIGNAL PROCESSING for 9 years (5/2001-4/2006, 1/2012-12/2015), and he was a member of Signal Processing Theory and Methods Technical Committee (SPTM-TC) (2005-2010), a member of Signal Processing for Communications and Networking Technical Committee (SPCOM-TC) (2011-2016), and a member of Sensor Array and Multichannel Technical Committee (SAM-TC) (2013-2018), IEEE Signal Processing Society.

Bio: Professor Dr Noor Zaman Jhanjhi is currently working as a Professor, Programme Director - of Postgraduate Research Programmes in Computing, Director of the Center for Smart Society 5.0, and Cluster Head for the Cybersecurity cluster at the School of Computer Science Faculty of Innovation and Technology, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. He was the World's Top 2% Scientist for two consecutive years 2022, and 2023, Vice Chancellor’s Award Taylor’s University Most Cited Researcher for 2023, Outstanding Faculty Member nominated by MDEC, Malaysia for the year 2022 and Top Researcher/Scientist in Malaysia for the field of Computer Science based on SciVal Scopus data 2022.
